Small Town Living

Medical Lake’s population has exceeded 5,000 residents and that means that we are now in competition with the larger cities for grants and financial assistance.  This changes how we compete for funds for road repairs, park upgrades, and sidewalks.

Medical Lake’s Waterfront Park and all the parks in town appeal to both our residents and visitors alike.  We welcome visitors to the city to utilize the parks and to support our businesses while they are here.  Our goal is to make sure that everyone can enjoy a day outside no matter which park they use.

Our Parks and Recreation Department works closely with the other cities in the West Plains to offer sporting and recreational events to both children and adults. Watch for opportunities on the City’s website.

During my first term as Mayor we established a monthly Bingo game for seniors.  This was a huge success and will be restarted soon.
